The November 4 General Election is swiftly approaching, and from everything that has taken place leading up to the election, most voters likely would agree the 2014 election cycle is one for the books.

Although many voters tend to closely follow the gubernatorial and senatorial races, there are other important votes to be cast on Election Day, namely deciding the persons who would make up the next members of the Board of Elections in both island districts.

With that in mind, the VI Consortium has complied a comprehensive guide of  everything you’ll need to know for Election Day on Tues., Nov. 4.

TIME

Polls will open at 7:00 A.M. and close at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 4.

IS EARLY VOTING STILL AVAILABLE?

As of Sun., Oct. 26, early voting has been suspended in the St. Croix District until further notification from Elections Supervisor Caroline Fawkes. There has been no official statement about the interruption of early voting in the St. Thomas-St. John District. Voting hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the district Board of Elections offices. Early voting is scheduled to end on Fri., Oct. 31.
