At a demonstration on St. Croix addressing the conflict in Gaza, Delegate to Congress Stacey Plaskett expressed her disapproval of Hamas's actions, while simultaneously criticizing Israel's "overreach" and "brutality." Plaskett affirmed Israel's right to self-defense and its right to exist, but emphasized that Palestinians are entitled to the same rights. "The ongoing blatant apartheid in Palestine cannot be sustained," Plaskett asserted at the Saturday rally on St. Croix. Watch.
