USVI Economic Development Authority Schedules Public Hearing and Board Meetings

The V.I. Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) has announced a public hearing to be conducted by the V.I. Economic Development Commission (VIEDC). The hearing is set to begin at 9:00 AM on Thursday, December 14, 2023.

Members of the public who wish to participate in the hearing can do so by registering in advance and joining through the Zoom link provided: Zoom Meeting Registration.

The agenda for the VIEDC hearing includes reviewing application matters for businesses across various industries and categories, including financial, management, and investment consulting, family office services, manufacturing, and alternative energy power generation. The businesses under consideration are located on St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John.

Following the public hearing, the VIEDA will hold decision meetings for the Enterprise Zone Commission and the Economic Development Park Corporation. Additionally, application and compliance matters for the VIEDC will be addressed.

The VIEDA Board of Directors and its subsidiary boards reserve the right to enter into executive session at any point during the meetings as per the provision in 1 V.I.C. § 254.
