The St. Croix Foundation has announced a treat for foodies – Top Chef contender Tiffany Derry is returning to the territory to serve as celebrity chef for this year’s Wine in the Warehouse event.

First appearing in season 7 of Bravo’s blockbuster Top Chef, Ms. Derry quickly endeared herself to viewers, finishing in the top four and earning the title “fan favorite.” After that introduction, the famed chef went on to compete on Top Chef: All-Stars, followed by a string of appearances on other popular cooking competitions including Chopped, Beat Bobby Flay, and more.

Not just a television chef, Ms. Derry currently runs two restaurants – Roots Chicken Shack and Roots Southern Table, the latter being a 2022 James Beard Award Finalist for Best New Restaurant – a true mark of quality in the culinary world.

“We are so excited to welcome this renowned chef and restaurateur back to St. Croix and into the folds of the Foundation’s family,” said St. Croix Foundation President Deanna James. “Tiffany Derry is not only an exceptional chef, but she’s also a fierce advocate for social justice, equity and food access.”

Ms. James went on to praise the celebrity chef for her focus on “celebrating her roots and bringing communities together through food,” which she said makes Ms. Derry an “inspiring collaborator for the work we do at the Foundation.”

On December 8, the Bohlke International Aviation hangar will make its traditional transformation into a welcoming venue for food & wine lovers, as the Foundation hosts one of its signature events, bringing together community and philanthropy into a superlative gastronomic experience.

Patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets early from www.stxfoodandwine.com. Questions about tickets, other events, and sponsorship can be directed to the Foundation offices at (340) 773-9898.
