Today is the Democratic Party Primary Election Day in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Today's results will determine the Democrats who will compete in the general election which is scheduled for November. The seats being contested include Senate, Democratic National Committee Woman, Territorial Committee At-Large, Board of Education, Democratic Party District Chair, Democratic Party State Chair, and Territorial Committee District. Voting starts at 7:00 a.m.

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Election System of the Virgin Islands has narrowed the number of voting places, and voting precincts have been consolidated into "Voting Centers".

Where to Vote on St. Croix 

The D.C. Canegata Recreation Center will serve the following precincts:

  1. Elena Christian Jr. High School (Princesse)
  2. John F. Kennedy Project Center
  3. Juanita Gardine Elementary School
  4. Lew Muckle Elementary School
  5. Florence Williams Public Library
  6. Pearl B. Larsen Elementary School

 

The St. Croix Educational Complex will serve the following precincts:

  1. Croix Educational Complex High School
  2. Alfredo Andrews Elementary School
  3. Eulalie R. Rivera Elementary School
  4. Evelyn M. Williams Elementary School
  5. Claude O. Markoe Elementary School
  6. Alexander Henderson Elementary School
  7. Ricardo Richards Elementary School

 

Where to vote in the St. Thomas-St. John District 

Charlotte Amalie High School Temporary Cafeteria Sprung Unit will serve the following precincts:

  1. C.A.H.S. Gymnasium
  2. Oswald Harris Court
  3. Winston Raymo Center
  4. Joseph Sibilly Elementary School
  5. Ulla Muller Elementary School (Last Names A-L)
  6. Ulla Muller Elementary School (Last names M-Z)
  7. Gladys Abraham Elementary School
  8. Addelita Cancryn Junior High School

 

The Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School will serve the following precincts:

  1. Ivanna Eudora Kean High School
  2. Joseph Gomez Elementary School
  3. Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School
  4. Charles W. Turnbull Library
  5. Julius Sprauve Elementary School in St. John will serve the following precinct:
  6. Julius Sprauve Elementary School

 

Calabash Boom Community Center (St. John) will serve the following precinct:
